A large villa in California was the main character of this massive furnishing project. Given the considerable size of the house our goal was to design furniture that was specific to each room and at the same time had a common thread capable of making the whole project harmonious.
The customer asked us for a made in Italy collection of furniture. However, the design was alternated with a more American taste, especially for built-in furniture such as kitchens and wardrobes, so as not to be extraneous to the house architecture.
For this reason, the shades of grey have been privileged for the textile part to match the colours used outside the house and create a contrast to the warm and honeyed tone of the parquet. The note of colour that wanted to be there but without creating an excessive detachment is represented by the use of the blue sugar paper present in the kitchen and some accessories such as the carpet in the family room or the armchairs in the fireplace room and by the blue ink for the seats of the dining room and some cushions on the sofas.
